Serving all of New Jersey!
Over the course of my life my family and I have gone through three separate home inspection processes. In each case we used a different home inspector.
One was rude, another was polite and the third rushed through the process- but none were informative in any way. I didn't experience the true value of a home inspection.
After I retired from the military and government service, I reflected on my next chapter in life and chose the home inspection profession. I looked back at my experience and realized the Home Inspection industry is the perfect way to help people. I want others to have a positive experience with home inspections and get the value they deserve with their purchase.
Purchasing a home is a stressful experience and my commitment to this profession will be to make the process as smooth as possible for the buyers.
I want you to know what you're walking into with absolute confidence, not fear.
I look forward to working with you.
Respectfully,
PMCS Owner

Purchasing a home will be one of the most important decisions and investments of your life. It’s crucial to protect your investment by acquiring a comprehensive home inspection by a New Jersey licensed inspector. That’s where PMCS Home Inspection Co. comes in.
Our focus during a home inspection is centered on…
- Exterior
- Roofing
- Interior
- Structural
- Plumbing
- Electrical
- Cooling
- Insulation & Ventilation
Our primary goal is to help you understand some of the important aspects of your future home by explaining critical need-to-know points. For more information, visit our Buyers section of the website section.
Another goal is to identify any potential areas of concern that may need to be further addressed and evaluated by a Subject Matter Expert, such as a plumber, electrician, general contractor, etc.
Please contact us today to schedule your home inspection or Contact Us if you have any questions.
We look forward to hearing from you.
There are three major elements when it comes to the home purchasing process once an offer is accepted.
- Attorney Review
- Home Appraisal
- Home Inspection
The purpose of the home inspection is not to determine whether you should purchase the home or not. It is to get a basic understanding of what issues and areas of concerns currently exist. We will help you prioritize these issues so that you can develop long term planning on your future home maintenance procedures.
The 3 Home Inspection Core Principles for the Prospective Buyer.
1. No home is perfect. There will always be issues, some more pressing than others. But understand that no home is in perfect condition, even new construction homes.
2. A large majority of issues are common. Most issues that are discovered during the home inspection process are relatively simple and/or common. This includes cracks, stains and inoperable items like outlets.
3. Anything can be fixed. Whatever the problem is, it can be fixed. Although we cannot give you an accurate estimate of the cost to repair something, we can give you a general idea of what it takes to make the repair.
The home purchase process is quite stressful. By keeping these principles in mind, it will help manage your expectations and ease you through the home-purchase and home inspection process.
These principles also carry over into the home ownership lifestyle. Which is why PMCS recommends annual ‘walk through’ inspections. More information on that can be found under the HomeownersPage.
“Spend a little now, save a lot later.”
For the current homeowner that isn’t moving anytime soon, the V2 Inspection is right for you.
The V2, or Visual & Verbal inspection (often referred to as a ‘walk-thru’) is designed to help you understand the various components of your home and to identify any areas of concern that may need to be addressed soon or down the road.
We accomplish this by ‘walking and talking’ with you to point out and flag any issues. We will help you itemize and prioritize any current and future repairs, or simply point what areas you need to periodically monitor.
The process is much like our traditional home inspection except there is no written report delivered.
Remember, your home is an investment that needs maintenance, just like a vehicle.
